An Interview with Queen of the Fae Acacia Rose by Maxwell Davis
Acacia Rose "Welcome to my water garden."
MaxwellDavis "Hello Queen Acacia and thank you for agreeing to be interviewed."
Acacia Rose smiles, "It is my great pleasure to do so."
MaxwellDavis "As I am sure you are already aware I have only been living on the beautiful isle of Anar for a very short time and so my first question to you is, how long have you been living here?"
Acacia Rose nudges the water with her toes sending ripples out. "That is actually a complicated question, for I was here among the fae of Anar as a visitor for a long time before I came to live here. I have felt a part of Anar since I was first welcomed by Kami, when he was king of Anar, and his Queen Faeathwen, which was a bit over three years ago."
MaxwellDavis "How long have you been Queen of Anar?"
Acacia Rose frowns thinks on this, "I became Queen during the winter that seemed not to end, then we had the winter where Anar remained in its proper state of Spring, and now it is fall again. So almost two years, but it seems as if it were just yesterday, I was new to these lands."
MaxwellDavis "What would you say is the most challenging aspect of ruling the residents of Anar?"
Acacia Rose smiles, "Have you ever tried to get three cats to go in the same direction at the same time? We are creatures or energy and chaos, To get us all working together towards the same goal is the hardest part. Should we all focus on a goal at once, we would be unstoppable, so sometimes this may be for the best."
MaxwellDavis "Do you feel as if you have been able to achieve everything that you set out to do since you have become queen?"
Acacia Rose laughed lightly, "Becoming Queen was never some thing I set out to do, I Met the Empress of the Isle of Shadows, who introduced me to Archmage Dinnin, who started me on my path to be a mage. I did accomplish that goal, I became the Archmage of Anurum, but that was before I was Queen. Since becoming queen, I have sought to find a way to protect us from the threats that surround us."
MaxwellDavis "What would you consider to be the single greatest threat facing the Kingdom of Anar?"
Acacia Rose: A jumble of expressions cross her face as to who might fit this, many come to mind, "Hmm, that is difficult, there are so many, from Atal Maru, Naragaroth, those who think we are silly things to be placated or distracted by a shiny thing." She shakes her head, "They all fail to understand who the fae are, they seek to impose their order on us. We can not and will not be made to be what others want us to be. We are Fae."
MaxwellDavis "Do you have any goals for the future?"
Acacia Rose nods, "I am seeking to become a Sage, To understand what the elemental lords offer to balance the paths of arcane and divine magic. There is a strength to asking, rather than demanding." The waters around her feet would swirl and tiny undine formed of droplets of water and mist, danced about her as she held out her hand in invitation before they disappeared back into the water. "To weave the willing aid of the element of water with the weave of the arcane."
MaxwellDavis "Thank you for agreeing to meet with me tonight Queen Acacia. I have enjoyed our conversation and look forward to working with you in the future."
Acacia Rose smiles, "Thank you for taking the time to ask."
