The Grand Shaman is the highest level of Enlightenment to which a Shaman can aspire. They strive to become One with the Universe and all its complexities. To that end they have achieved a certain degree of Mastery over the Spiritual Forces at their disposal. In truth, they are the Conduit for said Forces or perhaps a better way to state it would be that they are the Magnifying Glass that the Spiritual Forces Use to affect the Mortal World.
The Grand Shaman is the Spiritual Advisor to many nonhuman Races. Orcs, Goblins and Trolls, in particular, adhere to a more spiritual view of the Universe and therefore are likely to follow a Grand Shaman.
The Spells usable by an Grand Shaman often consist of Bolts of Spiritual Energy derived from whatever force they adhere to as well as Storms of said energy washing away all around them. Providing Food and Nourishment as well as healing falls within their normal range of abilities as well.
The Grand Shaman has Banish abilities. Banish abilities grant the archetype the ability to remove a single player of a certain type from a battlefield. That player must be re-summoned by the appropriate class in order to return. This makes Banishment a VERY powerful ability. Only 2 Banish spells can be cast per day by a single archetype.
A single Grand Shaman on a Battlefield can call upon the Forces of Nature to bring back a single person to life. The strain that Grand Shaman undergoes surpasses All his or her other abilities and thus they can cast this spell but once. Even If that Grand Shaman falls no Other arch druid on the battlefield may take up his or her mantle due to the Ethereal Vortex that Grand Shaman has created in order to utilize this ability. Grand Shaman fills the same slot on a Battlefield as an ArchDruid.
That means that whichever Grand Shaman was assigned as Grand Shaman for that Battle can Resurrect One person. No other attending grand shamans may cast resurrection for the duration of the Battle.
Shape-shifting,
As with all Shaman, a Grand Shaman can wear D1 (leather armor) and utilize whatever weapon befits their original Attunement. Any Class can use a Staff as their Chosen Weapon. They get MR (Magic Resistance) of 2.
Shamanistic examples would be Claws, Bows, Daggers, Short Swords, Staves and Spears.
They also gain Beseech, this is often in the form of trading favors, lesser members of their respective Forces to Aid them. Spirits and Ancestor Spirits or Spirit Guides for Shaman. .This is a RP ability and is answered far more often than other ranks of their Orders Beseech.
