Warriors
The warrior is the basis for all fighters on a battlefield. This is the individual to whom Battle is Life. They live or Die by the sword. All soldiers both trained and untrained fall under this heading.
All Military ranks and Militias are by default Warriors. Norsemen, Charioteers, Gladiators, Brigands, Skirmishers, Pikemen, Shieldmaidens, Militia, Samurai, Warmongers, and Centurians are all types of Warriors.
They are capable of using any weapon on the battlefield. They have use of even the heaviest weaponry such as Double Bladed Battles Axes and Claymores in addition to any ranged weapon (obviously cant use a bow and two handed sword at the same time tho).
Warriors are the only class allowed tower shields. At the rank of 3 a Warrior can combine their specialized use of two handed weapons. Combining the Two Handed weapon with a shield.
So in this regard they are allowed D3 on the meter. Yet as they have an innate ability to resist AoE (area of effect) Magic. They do not add in MR. It is built in to the Meter when they select their class.
Warriors are allowed to use the Rage Huds available. The level 1 hud at Rank 1 and on wards till Rank 4/5 use the rank 4/5 huds.
They tend to shy away from Magicks but have been known to use limited healing potions once they become familiar with "wizardly types". (See potions page for more info on this)

Cavaliers
The Cavalier Is a Knight. They can serve as either Cavalry or a Footman. They wear heavy armor and can use a shield and lance from horseback in combat or a variety of Melee weaponry if non mounted.
The Cavalier is able to wear the AC 3 which is the heaviest armor available, (Unless they are a Dragon or other naturally armored race.) Like the Warrior, a Cavalier has use of Shields. They can not, however, use the tower shield.
The weapons available to a Cavalier are varied but stricter than a Warrior. They are not allowed Long Range weapons such as the Bow or Crossbow but they can use Javelins or spears. The lance is the only 2h weapon allowed Mounted. They can use a shield and 1h sword/axe/hammer mounted as well. They are allowed any 2h weapon if not mounted. Any Class can use a Staff as their Chosen Weapon.
Maces, Axes, and Swords are the most common weapons for a Cavalier. They can choose 2h Maces, Axes, Swords when non-mounted. Lances and Spears are also available.
They are trained in Mounted combat but are equally comfortable on Foot.
There are 3 levels of Cavalier and the Mounted training increases as they progress. Land based mounts at lvl 2, sea based at lvl 3 of course, choose to ride a ground based Mount (and some races would actually prefer it.)

Samurai
The Samurai is a warrior/mage essentially. This is a soldier that has learned to focus their Chi energy in such a fashion as to cause supernatural effects such as super jumps, throwing small whirlwinds or setting their sword on fire. They are often given to some focus or code that makes them excel as a Magical Warrior combination.
They can wear D2 armor but always use a two-handed weapon or a pair or weapons. Samurai are adept at dual wield. A samurai may choose 3 weapons to be proficient in. They are allowed a bow. Though they are more effective with a specialized form of training in close combat.
The samurai trains his body to function in perfect unison with the world around them. That includes whatever weapon he or she may use. As a result they become Master of their chosen weapons.
It is not uncommon for a Samurai to possess elemental abilities. In such a case then they would attune themselves to a certain element and gain Mastery over that element just as they would over their chosen weapon.
They get M1 on the meter for Magic Resistance

Spellsword
Spellsword is a Martial class that uses Thamaturgic magic to alter the properties and abilities of a physical weapon into a new form.
This class uses Melee weapons that they can touch and therefore channel their abilities through that item. This class typically uses elemental types of magic such as fire and water that they channel through their weapon.
Typical results of such runecrafting are Flaming , Frost, Acidic, Electric or Wind Blades.
They can also channel their mana from themselves into another. This energy is reflected in life force and channeling too much mana release can actually kill the spellsword.
The warrior is the basis for all fighters on a battlefield. This is the individual to whom Battle is Life. They live or Die by the sword. All soldiers both trained and untrained fall under this heading.
They are capable of using any weapon on the battlefield. They have use of even the heaviest weaponry such as Double Bladed Battles Axes and Claymores . These warriors can use Critical Strike Weapons.
They can wear cloth, leather, chain or plate. But can not wear the Heavy Plate allowed to pure warriors. Giving them D2 and magic resistance of M1 on the meter.
