An Interview with the Fae Princess of Sylvhara; Samar by Maxwell Davis
MaxwellDavis was a bit winded after his climb up to the plateau where he hoped to find Princess Samar. He made his way around the Fae Palace until spotted the Princess sitting on a bench in her garden. He slowly approached her and said, "Hello Princess Samar. I hope you are well. I was wondering if you would be willing to answer a few questions for me?"
Samar (samarnadra) was relaxing in her garden and looked up. "Certainly. I wouldn't mind a bit."
MaxwellDavis smiled and then replied, "How long have you lived on the beautiful island of Anar?"
Samar (samarnadra): "Well, let's see... a few years back I lived on Alasse in the fae lands, and then something happened to Alasse and then we discovered Anar and I moved there with the other fae. Then I moved to Taure Ru for a bit, nearly a year, and then I moved back a year or two ago. I moved into this cave about a year ago."
MaxwellDavis nods his head and then replies, "How do you like living here in Anar as compared with the time you spent living in Taure Ru?"
Samar (samarnadra): "They are very different places. Even the energy of the land and of the spirits are different. I was initially just another random fairy on Anar and Alasse, and loved Anar for her beauty and peace. The Hive was full of dark caverns and glowing plants and was beautiful in its own way, like autumn has beauty in a different way than Spring. Now I have found a way to embrace both types of beauty."
Samar (samarnadra): "Decidedly less likely to be killed by deranged puppets here than in Taure Ru, however. But my duties and lifestyle are very different as Spring Princess than they were as Hive Queen."
MaxwellDavis "Do you feel that you have been able to achieve what you set out to do since coming to live in Anar?"
Samar (samarnadra): "Considering my goals were to learn more about mortals and shamanism, help my faemily grow and prosper, and find some time to relax in a peaceful setting, I'd say I have."
MaxwellDavis nods his head in understanding and then continues with his next question. "Do you have any new goals for the future?"
Samar (samarnadra): "The same goals, but also keeping Anar safe for fae and foxes from malevolent spirits and living folks, and I suspect there are tiny animals I can hear but not see. I should investigate that."
MaxwellDavis "Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to meet with me today Princess Samar."
Samar (samarnadra): "Thank you for thinking of asking me such curious things."
