нєαтнєя Rɵʂἔ Please - sit" waves a hand to the tall backed chair
Forrest Mimulus looks around his surroundings intrigued by the interior. Sits on the tall black chair. Readies his parchment and lead " Thank you for accepting my invite to interview such a lovely lady such as yourself. I have 3 or 4 questions . First , tell me
"How did you wind up in the realm of Taure Ru and the GA"?
Heather Rose eyes the youthful looking, muscular satyr, narrowing my yes at him, as I place the poisoned pointy end of the baton to the dark red carpeted floor, placing one hand to my daughter's smooth skull, and the other over top, aiming the glowing mana stone eyes at him unconsciously out of habit. Smiles at his remark about my looks, and lowers my head a little in acknowledgment. "A ship." ...........................................Debates whether I wish to add any detail at all to that - it being a very touchy subject with me, but then continues. "I've been making my way in this direction for a while, and had Taure Ru been uninviting, I would have continued on."
Forrest Mimulus listens to her answer as he notices the baton and the skull, but isnt sure what to think of it . Nods in acknowledgment, but decides not to press further on the ship since its a common mode of transportation. "Taure Ru isnt for the faint of heart, and why I love it so" next question:
"What kind of things were you planning to do here? And have you done them?"
Heather Rose spreads her customary smirk to her face, and her reflective eyes even show more mirthful sparkle. "For farmer folk newly arrived, few stay the course, but move on - for those without the funds to go any further, they must make of Myder (and surrounding countryside) what they can. For a muscular Satyr with few fears, Taure Ru presents a challenge. For creatures of the night such as I, and those that inhabit the city of the dead, this is the home to all our kind that is not afforded us anywhere else. AND YET, strangely enough, there are bright creatures living in the elder wood, protected by the Tree Thane - you kind, pixies, fairy folk, and even mer (so I've heard)... As to your question?" Thinks briefly on it, looking to the fire, enjoying the crackle of it, the little fireworks display as the wood settles a little more into the crimson and ruby coals. "I settled in, have been accepted for what I am, and have done well in the Necropolis; however, what you likely do not know about me, is that I am the
unnamed partner at the Misty Wood magic supplies store in Miles End - some few hundred yards down main street from the center of Myder. We cater to the more particular customer."
Heather Rose Chooses not to say anything about the Poisoned Apple - our competition.
Forrest Mimulus is dazzled by her sparkling eyes which strangely reminds him of feline eyes and for a second thought he knew those eyes. He nods as he listens intently, focused only on her , " The Realm of Taure Ru is quite diverse in many ways for certain. I know of Misty Wood, although have not visited yet, and you shall remain unnamed if you wish".
What is the most popular item you sell in your shop"?
Heather Rose lifts the right corner of her mouth in a more pronounced smirk. "I would prefer my name is present - seen by your readers. You were granted permission to enter the city of the dead, and I accompanied you (for your protection) in order for this story to be read..." pauses "...primarily by Sage. it has not passed my notice that there is bad..." wants to say blood, but chooses another word instead "... intent between her and the necropolis, primarily because of two uncouth youngsters causing mischief and harm in her woods..... to your question - there's no one item... for the undead, I would say it's a toss up between Coffin Nails, which is one of the most delicious drinks to all dark creatures, smelling of fresh cooked meat, but reminiscent of the most enjoyed alcoholic drink, with prime aged Angus beef. To humans, fae, and all light creatures, it tastes like barf smells... the other is Vena Mortuis, a highly poisonous specially fermented drink that only the dead enjoy – making one feel ‘warm’, which and of itself) may cause adverse effects."
Heather Rose "Strange that in a store catering to magic, drinks are the most commonly sold items... but that is as it is - we do have items that were hard to procure, some are only one in existence, highly valuable, highly prized, and highly protected... of course we sell Miruvor, Klathane, and Elverquisst - elven staple wines."
Heather Rose "come to think of it, maybe Klathane isn't so often heard of."
Forrest Mimulus stops to sharpen the lead before he finishes writing the previous words to parchment. He then looks up from his writing tool to listen to her intriguing accent. " I will gladly get the presence of your name with Misty Wood". Continues to listen as she describes the tasty sounding drink , which almost makes his mouth drool until the idea of barf smell. Wonders if his face gave his disgust away." Seems like Misty Wood has something for everyone, including rarities. Before we close the interview I want to thank you for agreeing to meet with me and for making the interview possible. Is there anything else you would like to share"?
Heather Rose breaks into a wide smile, watching his expressions as she describes what the drink tastes like to various beings, and when he asks his question, when finished, pronounces her name concisely, for the article,: "Heather... Rose... is my name - and I didn't even tell you of the sweets for children of all kinds." Thinks, repeating his question while pondering it. "anything else I would like to share................" pulls a slight grimace, gritting her teeth, and drums her fingers of the one hand over the other on her skull head baton, and lowers lowers her chin a little towards it in thought. "The necropolis... as you know... is the city of the dead..." Pause to consider her words carefully. "All live things die, but, not all dead things remain down. The city of the dead is not just a repository of those things that won't stay down, it's a home for them. You MUST have felt it - the pull on your being to exhaustion - life cannot exist in this realm for long, we're all draining you of it by your mere existence among us
Heather Rose It is that which I have tried to keep here in the mountain, to avoid all of Ru being consumed by it, should it ooze out into the countryside. But while I have tried this long, my resolve has waned, and I believe it is the menacing crystal that causes darkness over Ru. My resolve has never been so tested; but I will do what I can to keep the balance in check for as long as that's possible.
Forrest Mimulus rises from the chair "Thank you once again Heather Rose,an honor and a pleasure to interview you"
